CASA urges legislators to provide needed funding
Dear Editor,
I am the Executive Director with CASA of Lincoln County, a local nonprofit (501c3) organization. Our organization provides trained volunteer advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring they have a voice in court and a chance for a safe, permanent home.
The impact of our work is significant, offering stability and hope to children during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
Despite our successes, we face substantial challenges, primarily due to limited funding and resources. These constraints hinder our ability to reach every child in need, stretching our volunteers and staff thin.
Our biggest challenge is ensuring every child in Lincoln County has access to the advocacy they deserve. We need the support of our community and state legislators to overcome these obstacles.
We urge our legislators to recognize the critical role CASA of Lincoln County plays and to provide the necessary funding and resources to support our mission. By doing so, we can create a brighter future for all children in Montana. For more information visit www.lincolncasa.org.
We appreciate your support!
Keeli Anderson, Executive Director, CASA of Lincoln County
