A suggestion to Daines, Sheehy
Wanted to give a heads-up to Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy. A warning of sorts.
Tim is our newly elected U.S. Senator and Steve is now the senior U.S. Senator from Montana.
Jon Tester was thrown out of office by Montanans because he lost touch with us - the people. He increasingly voted against Montanans. Whatever his out of state lobbyists told him to do - he did.
From funding Ukraine’s border and not ours to funding pre-paid credit cards for illegal aliens which led to veterans being kicked out of housing to make way for illegals. It was abhorrent.
I say that, because Montanas pay attention to what their Senators actually do and not what they say. Montana booted Tester despite a record $120 million being spent by his friendly lobbyists to keep his seat. We ignored the money ads.
However, today I learned through my authoritative sources in D.C. that both Tim Sheehy and Steve Daines are going to start day one by ignoring the will of the people of Montana and vote for the lobbyists choice: Republican John Thune for Senate leadership.
If they do that, this immediately betrays the people of Montana outright. Call Steve Daines’s office in D.C. before Wednesday morning when the vote for leadership is held and tell him to vote for Rick Scott of Florida - the only non-lobbyist supported Senator running for leadership.
Call Tim Sheehy’s campaign. We cannot let the lobbyists back in charge of the Senate. We worked too hard this election cycle to just hand power back to the lobbyists.
