Julie Marie Huisentruit
Julie Marie (Slover) Huisentruit was born on Dec. 8, 1965 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to her loving parents Verna and Ronald Slover.
She moved around with her parents and siblings until they settled in Libby, Montana, where she spent the majority of her formative years.
Julie became a mother at the age of 18 when she gave birth to her first daughter Nicole. For two-and-one-half years, with the help of friends and family, Julie raised Nicole on her own until she met the love of her life Roger Huisentruit. Smitten immediately they married within a year of being together. Julie gained a daughter, Kate, when they married.
A few years later they welcomed another daughter, Mandy. In the summer of 1993 they moved to Elko, Nevada where they welcomed their final child, a son, Shane. Raising a family is what Julie dedicated her life to.
In 2013 she became a grandmother and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Julie was a true caregiver, from a young age if she saw someone struggling she would do anything in her power to help. She cared deeply for her parents and siblings and remained close with them her whole life.
Her home was beautiful and welcoming to anyone who needed a place to stay. She was gorgeous, fun, strong, loyal and had the biggest heart. Julie had a lot of loves, she loved music, dancing, decorating, dogs but most of all she loved her family.
On May 15, 2024, at the age of 58 Julie passed away surrounded by loved ones and showered in love. She will be missed terribly but the love she gave will live with us forever.
Julie was preceded in death by her father Ronald Evan Slover.
Julie is survived by her husband Roger Huisentruit, daughter Nicole Huisentruit-Slover (Nathaniel), daughter Mandy Huisentruit Bayot (Daniel), son Shane Huisentruit, daughter Kate Huisentruit (Janie), mother Verna Jean Slover, brother David Slover (Supayanee), sister and best friend Cindy Quinn (Dean), brother Jeffery Slover (Carolina), grandchildren Louie and Jack Huisentruit and Silas Daniel and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
