| May 3, 2024 7:00 AM

Gerald “Jerry” Arthur Wiederhold was born on Dec. 9, 1949, and passed away in his sleep on March 18, 2024, after a stroke and a short stay in the hospital.

Born to Virginia and Moritz Wiederhold, Jerry grew up in Lincoln, Montana before volunteering to join the Army and completing tours in Vietnam. He lived and worked in Alaska briefly and returned to Montana.

He enjoyed reloading, coin collecting and traveling to visit his family members across the country. He was a father, a veteran and a friend to so many. He always had a bright smile and a crude, but humorous belly laugh to share.

Jerry was such a generous spirit and will be remembered fondly by so many friends and family members.

He is survived by his sisters, Sharon Meyer and Rita Neilson, son Mike Wiederhold (Jen), grandchildren Joseph, Cheyenne and Devon, son Jim Wiederhold (Betty Jo), grandchildren James, Elizabeth and Damien, and daughter Rose Arnold (CW), grandchildren Delilah, Will and Cole along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Full military honors will be rendered at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Fort Harrison Veterans Cemetery.
