Sno-Kats consider expansion to ATV, UTV users
The Lincoln County Sno-Kats Club, organizers of the annual Snowmobile Poker Fun Run, is considering expanding its scope of interest to include ATV and UTV enthusiasts.
All interested persons are invited to attend the monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the David Thompson Search & Rescue Barn to offer ideas and feedback.
Come hear about the club's possible plans for snowmobiling and blending off-road ATVs and UTV use for the coming year. This is a discussion meeting and those with ATVs and UTVs are invited.
The public is welcome.
Flathead Reservation seeks comment on bird hunting seasons
The Flathead Indian Reservation Advisory Board is seeking comments on the draft 2024-2025 hunting seasons, shooting hours and limits for migratory waterfowl, pheasants and gray partridge for non-member hunters.

A public meeting to accept comments will be held in the Tribal Division of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and Conservation Conference Room at 406 Sixth Avenue East at Polson, Montana from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.
Review process for fishing regulations to begin soon
HELENA – Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will host public meetings in each region to gather input for the 2025-26 fishing regulations.
Fishing regulations are now under a process like hunting regulations, going through a comprehensive public review every two years. Fishing regulations are printed during odd numbered years.
FWP’s proposed regulation changes will be posted online later this month. FWP will also accept and review fishing regulations changes proposed by the public during the initial review time period.
Staff will use this public input to refine regulation proposals to the Fish and Wildlife Commission. The final fishing regulations proposals will be available for public comment in August and the commission will adopt, modify or reject the proposals at its October meeting.

- Region 3: March 28, 6 p.m., Bozeman, 1400 South 19th St.
