Cabinet Peaks Medical Center (CPMC) is pleased to announce the launch of its new Physician-Based Hospitalists Program aimed at further improving patient care and experience within the hospital setting.

The program, which was introduced in January, will see highly qualified physicians dedicated solely to the care of hospitalized patients. This innovative approach ensures that patients receive specialized, round-the-clock attention from skilled medical professionals throughout their hospital stay.

"At Cabinet Peaks Medical Center, we're thrilled to launch the Physician-Based Hospitalists Program, reinforcing our unwavering dedication to providing outstanding healthcare services to our community," stated Tadd Greenfield, Chief Executive Officer at CPMC. “Through this initiative, our goal is to improve care coordination, bolster patient safety, and achieve optimal treatment outcomes."

Under the new program, a team of experienced hospitalist physicians will be available onsite 24/7 to oversee the medical management of patients admitted to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. These dedicated hospitalists will collaborate closely with primary care physicians, specialists and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

"One of the key benefits of the Physician-Based Hospitalists Program is the continuity of care it offers," Greenfield said. "Having hospitalists onsite ensures timely assessments, facilitates prompt interventions and promotes effective communication among care teams, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes."

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center has carefully researched the Physician-Based Hospitalists Program to prioritize patient-centered care, efficiency, and clinical excellence. By centralizing inpatient care under the guidance of dedicated hospitalist physicians, CPMC aims to elevate the standard of healthcare delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

"We believe that by investing in resources like the Physician-Based Hospitalists Program, we can further enhance the quality of care we provide to our patients and strengthen our position as a leading healthcare provider," Greenfield said.
