Richard Workman
Richard Workman passed away May 30, 2024, at the age of 79 after a six-year battle with cancer.
Richard attended school in Eureka, Montana, graduating in 1963. In 1965, he entered the U.S. Coast Guard stationed on the East Coast and Cape Cod.
In 1968, he married his wife of 55 years, Gail. In 1969, he returned to Montana to pursue his love of logging. He and Gail then settled at Happy’s Inn, Montana and had a house built on Lavon Lake.
1993 found them moving to Roundup, Montana for a two-year logging job (where golfing kept him busy for 30 years).
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Workman and sister Lynette Starling, both of Eureka. He is survived by his wife Gail of Roundup, mother Peg Workman of Columbia Falls, sister Sue (Cliff) Evans of Broomfield, Colorado, Mike (Jolene) Workman of Eureka and brother Victor Workman of Whitefish.
Services and interment will be held in Eureka at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery with a reception to follow at 735 Lindsey Road.
