Woman pleads, man still faces felony theft charge
A Libby woman accused of stealing a truck after an incident in November at a local bar in Libby recently pleaded guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge.
Eryn Christine Jenkins, 45, was charged with one felony count of theft following the alleged offense on Thanksgiving weekend.
But, through her attorney, Scott Hilderman, Jenkins pleaded to obstructing a peace officer in Lincoln County District Court June 3. Judge Matt Cuffe gave her a six-month suspended sentence and Jenkins received credit for serving two days in the county jail.
