Thomas “Tom” “Hollywood” Samuel Kurle of Clarkston, Washington passed away on July 6, 2024, at his home.
He was born on May 24, 1974, to Richard and Kathy (Carper) Kurle in Astoria, Oregon.
Tom loved spending time with his wife, friends and family in his back yard better known as his “sand box.”
He loved playing guitar, building guitars, ships and RCs. Tom was known for his attention to detail in everything he did, whether it was building homes, remodeling or creating his back yard “sand box” with his wife Sonya.
It was said by many if it could be fixed Tom could do it, he was a very smart, loving kind man with a huge heart. If you knew Tom you knew his heart was for his wife, children and family. He will be missed by many and dearly loved by all, his memory will live on forever.
Tom is survived by his wife Sonya, his children Hailey, Austin, Izabelle (Luke Hoyt), Jacqueline and Sophia. His grandchildren (Izabelle and Luke’s) Lacee, Akira and Jaxzyn. Brother-in-law Reese Maynard (Jennifer) nephew Byron and niece Lexi, sister-in-law Crystal Denton (Bryan) nephew Jeremy (Missy)and niece Ashley as well as great nephew Hunter, great nieces Ashynn and Elayna. Mother-in-law and father-in-law Jeannie and Larry Maynard, Aunt Debbie and uncle Forrest. His mother Kathy Carper, sister Kimmi and brother Chris all of Libby, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed dearly by his work family, Natural Resource Management, Lower Granite, Corps of Engineers who will be planting a tree in his honor in the fall.
Tom is preceded in death by his grandmother and his father Richard Kurle who he loved dearly.
A gathering in his honor will be held at a later date and time.
