Michael D. Knock

| July 16, 2024 7:00 AM

Michael D. Knock was born on July 19, 1965, in Chamberlain, South Dakota, to Clayton and Cheryl Knock. On July 4, 2024, Michael gained his wings and went home to Jesus.

He left this Earth doing one of the things he loved most, riding a motorcycle. Michael had one of the biggest hearts. Anyone who crossed paths with him knew what a giving and caring person he was. Not only did Mike have a heart of gold with the people on this Earth but his love and gift with any animal. It was truly remarkable.

Mike was a jack of all trades. In his many adventures throughout his life, there wasn’t many things that he did not experience. While he worked in many different fields in life, his main calling was mechanics and auto body restoration.

Midway through his life, Mike met what would become not only the greatest challenge of his life but the most rewarding as well. It was at this time that he met his now wife LaJada Knock and her five children. Over the course of 23 years together, those children became his own. His greatest joy in this world was the family that we grew together.

In September of 2016, Michael came to know an even greater joy, when our granddaughter Naveyah Knock was born. He got to experience raising a child from birth. Mike had a special bond with his other grandchildren Ethan, Kaylee and Annabelle. Each in their own unique ways.

Mike is now reunited with his brother, Bernie; his mother, Cheryl; and his father, Clayton in Heaven.

He left behind his stepfather, Roger; his brothers, Scott and Jesse; his wife, LaJada Knock; his children, Jessica Jensen, Eric Jensen, Tabitha Hammrich, Brian Hammrich, Harley Pierce, Luke Pierce, Sadie Nelson, and Erik Nelson; his adopted daughter/granddaughter, Naveyah Knock; his other grandchildren, Annabelle, Kaylee, Ethan Hammrich and Harley Jensen. Mike is also leaving behind his 3 rescue cats Squirrel, Felix and Rascal; his dog Zilly that he loved to take to the water.

Mike’s services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at the Libby Christian Church. There will be a reception following the service at the church.

Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, Montana. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
