John Sidney Hancock

John Sidney Hancock, 80, of Troy, Montana, died at his home in the Yaak of a heart attack on Jan. 11, 2024. 

He was born May 3, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Henry W. and Rachel (Atkinson) Hancock. 

He is survived by his wife Lynn Hancock, his cats Smoky and Freddie, and numerous loving relatives and friends. He was also a harmonica player of Yaak fame.

There will be no public services. Memorials may be sent to Kootenai Pets for Life.
