A Libby woman involved in a standoff with law enforcement last year and charged with witness tampering was sentenced in Lincoln County District Court on Jan. 8.

Katherine Margaret Dedrick, 35, pleaded guilty on Nov. 14 in Lincoln County District Court to one felony count of witness tampering. District Judge Matt Cuffe sentenced her to a three-year deferred term, following the agreement between defense attorney S. Charles Sprinkle and county Attorney Marcia Boris. Dedrick was given credit for serving four days in the county jail.

Dedrick was first charged with two felony counts of tampering with witnesses and informants. She appeared in Lincoln County District Court on Sept. 25 and entered not guilty pleas.
