Jack E. Lee Richmond

Jack E. Lee Richmond, 88, of Libby, Montana, passed away on Dec. 13, 2023, in Kalispell, Montana. 

He was born on Jan. 26, 1935, in Glen Elder, Kansas.

Jack was known for his vibrant personality and outgoing nature. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone who knew him. As a fourth-generation baker, Jack dedicated his life to the art of baking. 

He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed participating in stage line acting, where he portrayed characters such as the Sissy Kid and Smilin Jake.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Donna Richmond of Libby, Montana, his children: Joel (Patty) Richmond of Colorado, Jeff (Dana) Richmond of Colorado, Jane (Randy) Mound of Arizona, Jean (Jeff) Holder of Libby, Montana, Rick (Vicky) Foote of Nebraska, and Malissa (Kevin) Boswell of Nevada. 

He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, his brother Greg (Nancy) Neff of Arizona, his sister Meg, his mother-in-law Bonnie Schulke of Libby, Montana, his brother-in-law Herb (Sara) Shuck of Libby, Montana, and his best friend of 50-plus years, Jim Mee of Libby. Montana, Jack’s ex-wife Lois of Colorado. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Harlow Richmond, and his mother, Marie Neff.

Jack graduated high school and later pursued his passion for baking by attending baking school. Additionally, he served in the Air Force for six years, where he made valuable contributions to the military.

Throughout his life, Jack held various careers, including being a dental assistant, medical technician, realtor and life insurance agent. He excelled in all his endeavors and was highly regarded in his professional life.

In his free time, Jack enjoyed stage line acting, golfing, bowling and going to the gym. He lived life to the fullest and embraced his hobbies with great enthusiasm.

Jack E. Lee Richmond will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished.
