Washington man sentenced for burglary conviction
A Washington man jailed on burglary and theft charges after an incident last fall at a home north of Libby was recently sentenced in Lincoln County District Court.
Gavril Stafan Kaya, 33, of Tumtum, Washington, received a five-year suspended term on Jan. 29 for a guilty plea to one felony count of burglary. A misdemeanor count of theft was dismissed.
Kaya received credit for 144 days in custody. Judge Matt Cuffe also ordered the man to not use alcohol, marijuana and illegal drugs.
