It’s not hard to find a way to have some Christmas spirit and members of Libby High School’s bands did their best to spread it to the local community.

The evening of Dec. 10 at the Memorial Center, members of the band presented their 2024 Dessert Concert, directed by new band instructor Patrick Lewis.

In addition to performances by the jazz and concert bands as well as the percussion ensemble, several solo ensembles treated the hundreds in attendance to sounds of the season.

Selections included all-time favorites, “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Joy to the World,” “O Christmas Tree,” “Silent Night,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas and many others.

Of course, a big part of the night were servings of tasty treats as well as raffles for several items donated by area businesses.
