Local non-profit Families in Partnership has been serving Libby families for nearly 30 years.

The 501(c)(3) non profit's work, which began in 1995, includes the Adopt A Family program.

"Every year we endeavor to work in collaboration with our community to ensure the most vulnerable don’t go without, particularly over the holiday season," Executive Director Alexandra M. Eanes said. "Since 2003, we have been facilitating a program called Adopt A Family.

The Partnership is committed to promoting and developing the potential of families, and improving the community through effective action and leadership. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

"For those who would prefer to support Adopt A Family, we would be happy to provide you with sizes, needs and wishes for a small (2 people), medium (4), or large (6-8) family.

"We value and appreciate all the local programs designed to support families and want to continue to be a part of that community of helpers for children, families and seniors on a fixed income," Eanes said.

Donations are tax deductible and donors will be given a receipt for their records, including the non-profit's federal EIN number.

"We prioritize families who are working toward self reliance, but could use support during the Christmas season," Eanes said.

The partnership is accepting the following items at 83 Collins Ave in Libby, or mailed to Families in Partnership, Inc., PO Box 762, Libby, MT 59923: cash (Families in Partnership, Inc. will use discretion to purchase needed items), Visa gift cards, gas gift cards, grocery gift cards, local businesses gift cards, new items, consumables, such as toilet paper and paper towels (whole/new packs only).
