Marsha L. Gwinn

| December 10, 2024 7:00 AM

Marsha L. Gwinn passed away peacefully Nov. 30, 2024, the day after her 82nd birthday.

She was born in Mills, New Mexico to Wesley John Case and Rose Joan Woodard on Nov. 29, 1942. Marsha grew up moving back and forth between New Mexico and Colorado, with her family moving to California where Marsha graduated high school from Fullerton High.

As a young girl one of her fondest memories was going apple picking with her grandpa Woodard, he would shake the trees and she would help pick up the apples. Marsha always had stories to share and one in particular was when she saw Dolly Parton at Harmony Park and danced with Little Jimmy Dickens.

Marsha is survived by her husband Richard W. Gwinn; they were married Nov. 20, 1982. Following retirement they packed up the motor home and traveled throughout the Northwest and Canada. After many miles of travel and countless memories they settled in Libby, Montana.

Living in Libby, Marsha pursued her love of needlework, Brazilian embroidery, knitting and crochet. She loved going to the thrift stores and yarn shops meeting up with her girlfriends for a bit of gossip and of course she never could pass up a bargain.

Marsha is survived by two brothers Theodore Case and Kipp Case, her sons Robert M. Warren and Russell L. Warren, stepchildren Margaret Nielson, John Gwinn, Shannan Lloyd and Sharleen Henery, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Clara Scholz, her son Roland C. Warren and stepdaughter Kathleen Reed.
