Troy kicked off the Christmas season Saturday night with its annual tree lighting and visit from Santa Claus.
The evening festivities included games for kids, hot cocoa and delicious cookies donated by members of the community.
The Lincoln Theater also provided hot dogs, chips, cider and popcorn along with Christmas carols and the Nativity.
