The law roundup is compiled from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office incident log from Nov. 19 to Nov. 24. It is not meant to serve as an exhaustive account.

Nov. 19

An officer investigated a report in the 100 block of Woodland Road, Libby, of a dog believed to be left alone inside an apartment for an extended period of time.

A deputy investigated a report of a person in the road at the intersection of Dewey Avenue and Tobacco Road, Eureka.

A report was taken about an alleged threatening between multiple parties in the 300 block of Sixth Street East, Eureka.

Two officers investigated a report about a dead deer with an arrow protruding from it in the 200 block of First Avenue West, Eureka. A Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Warden Supervisor asked for photographic evidence and the arrow for more investigation.

Two officer searched for a woman who reportedly had a black eye and bloody nose in the parking lot of a local motel in the 1800 block of U.S.Highway 93 North, Eureka. She was not found.

Nov. 20

Someone reported an injured deer in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue East, Eureka. Two officers responding reported the deer did not appear to be hurt.

Three officers handled a call about a DUI involving alcohol or drugs in the 31200 block of U.S. 2, Libby.

A deputy took a call about a threat made at the old Yaak Hill dumpster site.

A suicidal man was reported in the 600 block of Bengston Lane, Troy.

Multiple first responders were at the scene of a vehicle crash on Pipe Creek Road.

David Thompson Search and Rescue responded to Yank River Road and Air Base Road for an overdue hunter. 

A trio of first responders attended to an overdose on cough suppressants in the 100 block of Crosscut Trail, Rexford.

Nov. 21

Two deputies and Libby Volunteer Ambulance crews responded to the 100 block of Kootenai Vista Drive, Libby, for a reported overdose.

A minor crash involving a parked vehicle in the 100 block of Dewey Avenue, Eureka, had no injuries.

A deputy investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Lower Granite Creek Road and Granite Creek Road area, Libby.

A deputy investigated a call about two stolen trailers from the 42000 block of U.S. Highway 2, Libby.

A deputy attempted to locate a wanted man in the 1200 block of Burma Road, Eureka. According to his mother, he moved to Texas.

A deputy investigated an assault in the 31700 block of South Fork Pipe Creek Road, Troy.

Nov. 22

Multiple first responders were at the scene of a single vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 2 at mile marker 25, Libby.

Two deputies responded to a disturbance on Bowkers Street, Libby.

A deputy was at the scene of a slideoff crash on U.S. Highway 93 South, Trego. The vehicle was towed.

A deputy assisted with a civil dispute among roommates in the 100 block of Vanderwood Road, Libby,
