Lee Roy Morton

Lee Roy Morton, 66, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, in Libby, Montana. 

He was born on Feb. 17, 1958, in Seward, Alaska, to Huston and Carol (Bricker) Morton. He was married to Tami but later separated. They had a daughter, Amie.

Lee enjoyed looking for old bottles, camping, fishing, being in the wilderness, and loved rock and roll music. He lived for many years in a tent in the mountains and enjoyed every minute of it. He was always very inviting and had a great sense of humor. Lee loved to play Yahtzee and cribbage with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Huston and Carol Morton; brother, Gary Morton; sisters, June Pomerinkey, Sharron Rhea and Leona Tarbert. 

Lee is survived by his daughter, Amie Morton; girlfriend, Jeanette Kortte; grandchildren, Selena Shriner and Bridgett Thruikill; aunts, Judy Morton and Sharon McTurff; niece, Megan Morton; nephew, Camerson Morton; and other various nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Lee loved his daughter and family dearly. They loved him back and he will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held for Lee at 1 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at Schnackenberg Funeral Home, 422 West 2nd Street, Libby, Montana.
