Ron Kelly

Ron Kelly, master cabinet maker, millwright, commercial and residential builder, sportsman, woodsman and Indigenous rights activist, walked-on Aug. 25, at his home in Libby, Montana. 

He is survived by his sisters Susan Young and Mary Kelly; his daughter, Carol Kelly, his son, Ron Kelly Jr., and, his grandson Andrew Kelly.

Ron was a 40-year pin member of Local 181, Chicago District Council of Carpenters. He was a member of Midwest Save our Ancestors Remains & Resources Indigenous Network Group. 

He loved to hunt, fish, and explore. He had a passion for woodworking, history, geology, photography and wilderness conservation. 

He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
