Troy contractor accused of large-scale theft

A Troy contractor is accused of cheating two families out of hundreds of thousands of dollars after authorities say he failed to build homes for them.
Michael Alan Hubbard, appeared in Lincoln County District Court Monday and pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of theft.
The case was filed by deputy county attorney Lauren M. O’Neill. Ben Kolter of the state Public Defender’s Office represented Hubbard.
