Dawn Marie Harvey

Dawn Marie Harvey, 51, of Libby, Montana, passed away on July 20, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born July 4, 1973, in Glasgow, Montana, to Diane Lind and Skip Harvey.

Dawn was a vibrant soul who enjoyed cooking, gardening and immersing herself in nature. Her spirit was larger than life; you could feel the energy rise anytime you spoke with her. Her contagious laughter and jokes often lit a room with smiles.

Her love for nature was evident in every aspect of her life and she found joy in the simple beauty of the world around her. Dawn’s life was a testament to living without regrets and she inspired those around her to seize every opportunity. 

Her family was her priority, whether it was the joy of decorating sugar cookies on Christmas Eve or the wonder of exploring the woods with her niece, Lacy. Her influence was profound and her memory will continue to inspire.

Dawn’s love for her family was unwavering.

She is survived by her son Jared Burgess and his significant other Bethany Eby, stepfather Jerry Hoover, siblings Jenny Hoover, Candance Barb, Justin Hoover, Jerry JR Hoover and his wife, Candy Hoover, and nieces and nephews Brittany Hoover-McMillan, Breanna Hoover-McMillan, Lacy Hoover, Jaylynn Hoover, Josslynn Hoover, Ariana Goodman, Hunter Hoover, Christopher Schedlbauer and Rylan McMillan. 

Her love and care for each of them was a testament to her character.

Dawn is preceded in death by her mother, Diane Hoover; her father, Skip Harvey; sister, Mary-Katherine Harvey; aunt Sheila Hoffman; cousin, Brenda Hoffman; and grandparents, Blanche and John Lind.

Dawn will be missed by many. Although her spirit may no longer be on Earth, she left an unforgettable imprint on those around her that will never fade.

Dawn’s life will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at Timberlane Campground.
