A deputy responded to the 300 block of 9th Street, Eureka, where a juvenile allegedly assaulted two other juveniles. The accused was arrested and cited for assault.

Several deputies and ambulance crews responded to an unattended death in the 200 block of 6th Avenue East, Eureka.

The Bull Lake Volunteer Fire Department and volunteer ambulance, along with several deputies, responded to a traffic crash on Bull Lake Road. There were no reported injuries.

Two deputies investigated a burglary in the 200 block of Khaz Road, Fortine.

A deputy reported to the Tobacco Plains boat ramp for a fight.

There were numerous traffic stops across the county for speeding, stop sign violations, driving without headlights or taillights.

Two officers handled a verbal argument between neighbors in the 200 block of Avenue B, Libby.

A deputy handled multiple calls about a mental subject in the 400 block of Koocanusa Trail, Fortine.

A deputy took a report of ungovernable juveniles in the 100 block of Darsow Road, Libby.

A deputy responded to the 23900 block of Highway 37, Libby, for a call of an alleged mental female.

An animal complaint was answered by a deputy in the 100 block of Old Renee Lake Road, Troy.

Another animal complaint occurred in the 100 block of Wards Road, Libby.

Several units, including the Fisher River Valley Fire and Rescue, responded to a fatal traffic accident on U.S. 2 near Marion. 61-year-old Joseph Cotten of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was driving a Yamaha Raptor ATV Monday, July 29, according to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino. While crossing the highway near Boisverts fishing access site, Cotten failed to yield and collided with an oncoming SUV, according to Montana Highway Patrol. The other driver, a 24-year-old male from Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and two passengers in a Hyundai Santa Fe were not injured. 

A deputy responded to a criminal trespass in the 100 block of Lookout Drive, Libby.

A caller reported being possibly drugged at a concert at Abayance Bay, Rexford.

Two officers helped a family whose vehicle was disabled on Back Country Lane, Libby.

A deputy assisted the Eureka Police Department and EMS with an intoxicated man on Dewey Avenue.

A caller complained about shots being fired from a vehicle parked in the 59000 block of Pinkham Creek Road, Rexford.

A deputy investigated a report of criminal trespass at a residence in the 300 block of Piney Road, Troy.

Two officers investigated a stolen phone and bike on Hideaway Road, Libby. The property was recovered and returned to its owner, who chose not to pursue charges.

Neil Steffen was arrested for a sixth DUI and driving with a revoked license.

A deputy received a report of a runaway juvenile from the 10600 block of U.S. 2, Troy.

A motorist was given a verbal warning for impeding the flow of traffic on Highway 37.

A deputy investigated a report of a child’s motorcycle being stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Beachward Trail, Troy.

Catherine Calbazana was cited for assault after a fight in the county jail, Libby.

An officer responded to Lewis Loop, Libby, for a mental subject.

A deputy investigated an assault at the Lower Yaak Campground.

A driver was cited for driving without insurance and warned for having studded tires on a vehicle at the intersection of Dewey Avenue and 8th Street, Eureka.

A trio of officers responded to a fight in the 700 block of Trainers Street, Libby.

A deputy investigated a report of an adult woman being pushed by another woman in the 200 block of Frazey Loop, Libby.

A person reported a stolen and forged check in the 2300 block of Granite Creek Road, Libby. A detective was investigating.

A nude, adult woman was reported on the roadway in the 200 block of Frazey Loop, Libby.

A neighbor reported being threatened in the 2900 block of U.S. 2, Troy.

A deputy responded to threat report in the 44200 block of Highway 37, Rexford.
