Ruphina "Tina" Nitschke

Ruphina "Tina" Nitschke, 87, of Libby, Montana said goodbye to her loved ones before passing away on April 9, 2024. 

She will be remembered for her wisdom, helpfulness, and wonderful cooking.

Tina was born Aug. 25, 1936, in Beulah, North Dakota. She was the sixth out of 17 children born to Andrew and Martha [Reinhart] Tesky. She married Lester Nitschke on April 29, 1956, in Riverdale, North Dakota and they had two children, David and Pamella. 

Tina loved the outdoors, gardening, crocheting, bowling and playing cards with her friends. She enjoyed time with family most of all and loved cooking family dinners. She especially enjoyed fishing with her son Dave and going on trips with his family, as well as going on walks and having lunch with her daughter Pam. 

Tina was also a long-time member of both the Hospital Auxiliary and Christ Lutheran Church.

Tina was survived by her son, Dave (Dorothy) Nitschke; daughter, Pam (Doug) Roll; three granddaughters, Tabitha Nitschke, Tiffany Nitschke and Krista Roll; two great-grandsons, Joshua Langton and Jackson McDougall; siblings, Wilma Richau and Donnie (Beverly) Tesky, and many more cherished family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, in 2005; parents, Andrew and Martha; five sisters, Sylvia, Rosetta, Ruth, Irene, Betty Ann, and nine brothers, Willas, Rupert, Rolland, Eugene, Virgil, Milton, Wayne, Vernon and Dennis.
