Two Libby residents accused of trafficking methamphetamine in Libby late last year made recent appearances in Lincoln County District Court.

Trevar Alee Sheasby, 32, was accused of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, or in the alternative, criminal possession of dangerous drugs and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheasby initially pleaded not guilty, but on March 18, he pleaded guilty to possession of meth. The other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal between Sheasby's attorney S. Charles Sprinkle and county Attorney Marcia Boris. Sheasby has been free since January when he was granted a release on his own recognizance.
