Flathead fire crews battle massive blaze at local hotel

Firefighters from across the Flathead Valley responded to a structure fire at the Quality Inn in Kalispell on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell Fire Department firefighters and other valley departments were dispatched at 12:44 p.m. to the scene on U.S. 2 on the west side of the city.
Flames had engulfed a large portion of the structure and spread into the roof as crews doused the flames from the ground and with ladder trucks.
