Kootenai Valley Quilt Guild show winners
The Kootenai Valley Quilt Guild hosted their annual quilt show at the Memorial Center Sept. 9-10.
Fifty-four quilters from the Libby area entered 138 beautiful quilts. The youngest quilter was 8 years old.
This year’s show offered guests the opportunity to view quilts, take a break with snacks and drinks from the snack bar and to shop at the quilters boutique featuring various quilted items for sale.
As visitors entered the quilt show they were greeted with this year’s raffle quilt, made by guild member, and show chair Robin Stadden.
Raffle tickets are sold over a six-month period with the raffle winner being drawn at the close of the show each year. This year the winner was an out-of-town visitor. Proceeds from raffle tickets are the main fundraiser for the Quilt Guild.
