Libby Library hosting two events on Friday

Kick off the holidays with two events sponsored by the Libby Friends of the Library on Friday, Dec. 1.

The monthly book sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Book Sale Room downstairs at the Library. 

They are ready for the holidays with numerous books including seasonal cooking, decorating and crafts, plus novels and holiday themed books for all ages. There are also special items that would make great gifts. 

Purchase of all items is by donation, with all money received going to support programs for the library.

Starting at 4 p.m. and going until 5:30 p.m. on the same day, Dec. 1, the “Bows & Blows” musical group will be providing music of the season and other selections.

This Holiday Open House will be held in the main Library. There will be special treats provided plus some fun craft activities, so bring the children!
