Diane Eileen (Hudlow) Jellesed

Diane Eileen (Hudlow) Jellesed, a devoted wife and mother, passed away on Sept. 27, 2022, in Tacoma, Washington, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 76 years old.

Born on Sept. 14, 1946, in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, Diane was the daughter of Lagona and Betty Hudlow. She spent her formative years on a small ranch in Troy, Montana, where she developed a strong work ethic.

In 1968, Diane married Airman Ned Jellesed in Troy. After Ned's return from Vietnam in 1971, the couple was stationed at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, where they made their home and raised their daughter, Melissa Green.

Diane began her career with the Bethel School District in 1971. She spent 45 years with the district, retiring in 2016.

Diane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ned, and her daughter, Melissa. Both reside in Tacoma and will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Diane's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Troy United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
