County resident takes on graffiti vandals
When some graffiti vandals decided to paint Lincoln County's "Rich, Rare and Remote" sign that greets motorists on U.S. 2 entering the county from neighboring Flathead County, one resident wasn't going to let it stand.
According to county employee Jennifer Brown, Wendy Chopyak wanted to repaint the sign. After speaking with county Commissioner Brent Teske, Chopyak got the go-ahead.
She and Brown traveled to the sign to repaint it and clean it up earlier this week.
"Lincoln County values citizens like Wendy who take pride in our county and appreciate their efforts to make a positive change," Brown said.
