PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Lincoln County Commissioners will hold a public hearing for the purpose of obtaining comments from residents of Lincoln County regarding a proposed increase in the annual assessment rate per refuse assessment unit from $135 per year to $150per year. The assessment rate pays for the costs associated with solid waste disposal for residents of Lincoln County. The rate increase will become effective September 1, 2023, and will remain in effect until such time as the Board of County Commissioners changes it. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. in Room 108 of the Lincoln County Courthouse, 512 California Ave., Libby, MT. Written comments, or protests should be sent to the Lincoln County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 512 California Ave., Libby, MT 59923 prior to Friday, August 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. local time.
