It was a bittersweet night at Lee Gehring Field in Libby Wednesday as the Loggers Legion baseball team bid farewell to six seniors.

Rusty Gillespie, Amir Clutter, Hunter Lindsey, Caleb Moeller, Chase Rayome and Dylan Buckner were honored for their respective contributions on the diamond during their years with the team.

The Class A West-leading Glacier Twins won both games of the doubleheader, claiming a 17-1 win in five innings, and 10-5 in the second.

Aidan Rose pitched a complete game in the second contest and Rayome provided a last-inning spark with a run-producing double.

The Loggers are playing in the Calgary Stampede this weekend.

The Class A District Tournament is scheduled for July 20-23 in Polson.
