Shane Donald Crill was born in Libby, Montana, on Feb. 9, 1994, to Donald Crill and Crista Bassett.

Shane went home to his Heavenly Father on June 4, 2023, at the age of 29.

Shane spent his early childhood in Libby and Post Falls with his mother Crista, brother Dakota and sister Heaven. He later moved back to Post Falls with his grandma Janie Orr where he attended Post Falls High School. That is where he met his high school sweetheart, Kalia Siegel.

She was a huge part of Shane’s life, even in recent years as friends, they were always drawn to each other.

Shane adored his Grandma. They shared a very special bond. Though Montana was a huge part of Shane’s childhood, he called Post Falls home.

Shane made friends easily. He had a contagious smile and infectious giggle.

He was instantly liked by everyone he met. Shane loved his family. He got to enjoy growing up with his cousins: Taylor, Kyndall, Brandon, Alex and Tatyana.

Shane was a Christian and he enjoyed youth group as well as attending church and small groups. Shane loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, golfing and working out. He lived his life to the fullest.

Shane enjoyed shooting pool with his grandma Janie. Although he could never beat her, he was always up for the challenge. Shane was very family oriented and he loved all of his family so much. He had a special connection with his niece and nephews and enjoyed visiting them as often as possible. His favorite thing to do was surprise them with a visit.

Shane didn’t shy from hard work. He was always willing to lend a hand. He took pride in being a hard worker. He started at a young age in construction and quickly worked his way up to a foreman.

Shane had a fun spirit and a silliness to him that will be missed beyond measure. He was kind, courageous, smart and always knew how to cheer everyone up.

Shane is preceded in death by his mother, Crista Bassett and his grandmother Janie Orr.
