Back-to-School Blast events benefit Lincoln Co. kids

Lincoln County’s Unite for Youth Coalition’s Back-To-School Blast 2023 events provided supplies to hundreds of school children.

The coalition held events in Libby, Troy and Eureka during the last few weeks.

Kids got a wide variety of school supplies, clothes, shoes, haircuts, backpacks, hygiene kits and sports physicals. Fun activities and barbecues were also held to encourage fellowship.

The Back-to-School Blast events organized by the Lincoln County Unite for Youth Coalition were fantastic opportunities for the community to come together and prepare for the upcoming school year.

The Kiwanis of Libby and Troy partnered with Lincoln County Unite for Youth Coalition, Spring Up Libby, Spring Up Troy, Spring Up Tobacco Valley, Northwest Montana United Way, the Nurturing Center in Kalispell, Cabinet Peaks Medical Center and Lincoln County Connections Resource Van in three back-to-school events in Troy, Libby and Eureka earlier this month.

In Libby and Troy, nearly 500 kids between pre-K and 12th grade received services.
