Nicholas “Nick” Robert Chapman

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Nicholas Robert Chapman, 20, of Pompano Beach, Florida, on Aug. 5, 2023.

He was born in Greenbrae, California on June 17, 2003.

Nicholas graduated in 2021 from Andover High School in Andover, Kansas, where he excelled in cross country and track and field.

He was known for his kindheartedness and great sense of humor, as well as his love for family and friends.

Nicholas is survived by his devoted mother and father Jennifer and Steven Chapman of Pompano Beach, Florida; loving sister Kirschten Chapman of Pompano Beach, Florida; grandmother Dianne Chapman of Spokane Valley, Washington, and Terrel Jones and Ken Stephens of Troy, Montana, aunt and uncles Goldie and Cindi Chapman of Belgrade, Montana, Steve and Dianne Wareham of Spokane Valley, Washington, and John and Alex Beury of Benton, Kansas, and numerous loving cousins.

Nick was an avid gamer and loved fishing. Most of all, Nick loved going to the beach. Sitting and watching the waves made him feel at peace.

His presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but his memory will always be in our thoughts and forever remain in our hearts. Nick left a lasting impression on all who cared for him and will be missed by the many friends who became family.

A celebration of life will be held at the Coastal Community Church, 3901 N.E. 22nd Ave., Lighthouse Point, Florida, on Aug. 24, 2023, time TBA.
