Carrel Jean Lundvall

Carrel Jean Lundvall, 79, of Libby, Montana passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Tennessee with family by her side.

She loved her family and was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She led a Christian life, worked hard for her family, owning multiple businesses in the Libby area.

She enjoyed giving back to the community, she collected coats for the cold for many years. Was a foster grandparent in local schools and was known as "Grandma Carrel" by hundreds of kids. She enjoyed all her friends and family spending as much time with them as possible. She and her husband of 48 years loved square dancing for years until her health prevented it.

One of their biggest joys was coordinating the annual Libby Dam Dance.

She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Lundvall, brother Daniel Wash, sister Virginia Kennick.

She is survived by her children Dave Peavler (Wendy), Paul Peavler (Dawn), Elaine Whitlock (Larry), Danielle Lundvall and Randi Jo Neidigh (Steve) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life is planned at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at the Fred Brown Pavilion in Riverfront Park.
