Organizers gear up for Ben Graham Memorial Tournament
Organizers are gearing up for the Ben Graham Memorial Golf Tournament next month at Cabinet View Golf Course.
The “BEN” is an annual tournament held in memory of Graham who was a popular and successful high school golfer who died tragically at a young age. Graham was a Class of 1973 graduate from Libby High School.
The tournament helps keep Ben’s memory alive and supports all junior golf activities from age 3 to graduating seniors.
Money raised at the tourney, set for May 12-14, also helps support the Libby Logger golf team, high school scholarships and the junior golf program. The junior program receive free instruction, range balls, a shirt, rewards, meal and the kid’s favorite treats.
Those wanting to sign up can do so at the clubhouse, call 293-7332 or can get a registration form at golflibby.com. The entry fee for members is $80 and $100 for non-members. Entry fees may be mailed to the Cabinet View Golf Course, PO Box 1562, Libby, MT 59923.
“We and all the young Libby golfers thank everyone for their support,” Dann Rohrer said. “We also thank the businesses for their support and ask visitors to support them.”
