Myrl Edward Hensley

| April 18, 2023 7:00 AM

Myrl Edward Hensley was born on Sept. 20, 1955, in Libby, Montana, to Floyd Edward Hensley and Leopoldine Mayer Hensley.

Myrl left his veil of tears to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, after a long illness with heart disease.

Myrl grew up and was educated in Libby, Troy and Dillon, Montana. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and socializing with his friends.

Myrl worked for Libby Ready Mix, drove logging trucks and lastly, he ran a crusher for Remp’s Sand and Gravel. Myrl was a hard worker. He took great pride in doing a good job and going the extra mile for his employers.

Myrl will be dearly missed by his family and friends. As Myrl’s health declined, he depended more and more on his sisters Betty and Julie and brother-in-law Butch to help with his needs.

We were so blessed to spend these last years and days with him.

Myrl was preceded in death by his father Floyd and lifelong friend Ken Beckstrom.

Myrl is survived by his mother Dina, sisters Betty Olson and Julie Foote (Butch), nephew Ken Larson, niece Amanda Williams, all of Libby, Montana and nephew Dale Larson of Dillon, Montana.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Milnor Lake Cemetery in Troy, Montana.

Arrangements are under the care of the Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby, Montana.
