Libby students meet with Sen. Daines in U.S. Capitol

U.S. Senator Steve Daines met with high school students from Libby, Ennis, Three Forks, Havre and Powell County High Schools last week through the Close-Up Program. On the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., Daines answered questions regarding delisting the grizzly bear and his passion for forest management. The students were visiting as part of the Close-Up program that brings young Montanans to their nation’s capital to learn more about U.S. history and the federal government.
