Libby's Malyevac cards 65 to win Frenchtown Invite

Libby’s Reece Malyevac fired a 65 to win medalist at the Frenchtown Invitational Thursday.

Malyevac was 11 strokes ahead of the next finisher, Dillon’s Jackson Heath. Mason Gotham, also of Libby, was third at 81.

Hamilton won the team title with 338 strokes. Libby was eighth with 396. Teague Thompson (122) and Ayden Montgomery (128) rounded out Libby’s top four scores.

For the girls, Frenchtown won with 379 strokes while Libby had 540. Mackenzie Foss led the Lady Loggers with an 118. Kailey Skranak scored 133, Addison Skranak 136 and Paislee McDonald 153.

Libby is back in action at 10 a.m. Friday at Cabinet View Golf Course.
