Invasive Species Council to get feral swine update

The Montana Invasive Species Council will hold its next meeting Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Helena.

The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Montana State Capitol room 152 and a virtual option will be available.

The meeting will commence with a welcome from Chair Bryce Christiaens. The Council will hear updates on feral swine and Prussian carp and will review comments from council stakeholder listening sessions. The council will discuss plans for the council Summit to be held Oct. 25-26 in Helena.

The Montana Invasive Species Council is a statewide partnership working to protect Montana’s economy, natural resources, and public health through a coordinated approach to combat invasive species.
