Libby Planning Board to hold public hearing on growth policy update

The Libby City Planning Board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at 952 E. Spruce Street in Libby.

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on the proposed City of Libby Growth Policy updates prior to the Planning Board’s adoption of the draft document and submission of the growth policy to the City Council.

After consideration of the recommendations and suggestions elicited at the public hearing, the Planning Board will make a recommendation to the City Council by resolution.

The draft may be viewed or downloaded at www.imaginelibbymt.com.

The draft City of Libby 2022 Growth Policy update document will also be available for review at City Hall, by contacting the City of Libby, by emailing: clerk.treasurer@cityoflibby.com, and via the city’s website www.cityoflibby.com.

Copies of the document will also be available at the public hearing.

Persons or their agents may appear in person to comment orally at the hearing or written comments may be submitted to City Hall, mailed to the City of Libby, attn: Libby City Planning Board, PO Box 1428, Libby, MT 59923, or emailed to: Kristin.smith@cityoflibby.com
