Choir performances planned for vets, Christmas season

Libby Middle High School Choir Director Lorraine Braun has announced upcoming performances for Veteran’s Day and the Christmas season.

A patriotic concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Memorial Center in Libby.

Military veterans, those still in active service and the general public are invited to attend the concert which will include good, heart-felt music performed by the Libby Children’s Select Choir, Libby Honors Choir and the Libby Middle School Choir.

Also, practices for Handel’s Messiah begin Monday, Nov. 14, in the Libby High School Choir room. Practices run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For those who enjoy singing and would like to try, they are welcome.

The actual performance will be at 3 p.m. on Dec. 11.
