Troy runner Trevor Grant claims 2 bronze medals

Troy High School runner Trevor Grant earned some hardware at the State Class B track and field meet last weekend.

Grant placed third in the 800 meter run with a 2:00.78 in the finals. His time was just 3 seconds off the winning pace set by Red Lodge’s Brandon Emineth.

Grant also took third in the 1,600 meter run, clocking an impressive 4:37.10. Emineth took gold with a 4:32.41.

In the girls triple jump, Troy junior Izzy Tunison placed 12th overall, putting down a 31-07 in preliminaries.
