Advertisement for Public Comment and Review of Environmental Review Record The City of Libby will hold a public hearing on May 16th, 2022 at 6:00 PM MDT at City Hall, 952 E. Spruce, Libby, MT. 59923, for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the environmental review record for the proposed water project that will provide City water service to the Libby Creek Community. At the public hearing the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project, and a decision will be made on the environmental assessment. The Council will discuss and vote on approving the PER. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project and any environmental impacts. Comments may be given orally at the meeting or submitted in writing before May 16th at 5pm. Approximately 28,569 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are offered for sale.
