Loggers postseason dreams dashed

The Libby Loggers postseason drive ended with a pair of losses in the Western A Divisional Tournament in Hamilton on Feb. 24-26.

In a Thursday afternoon matchup, the Loggers fell to the Dillon Beavers, 72-59. Tyler and T.J. Andersen led the squad in scoring with 14 points each. Caden Williams netted 13 and Ryder Davis chipped in 12.

Following the loss, the Loggers were scheduled to play the Hamilton Broncs in the loser out competition. Hamilton had just come off a three-point loss the night before to Libby conference foe Polson.

Libby’s offense managed just 37 points against the Broncs, who put up 50. Caden Williams lead the Loggers in scoring with 12 points. T.J. Andersen and Trevor Collins each came away with six.

Libby finished the season 6-4 in conference action and 14-7 overall.
