Thank you, Troy Snowmobile Club

Please extend our special thanks to the Troy Snowmobile Club for supporting the recent avalanche awareness seminar hosted by David Thompson Search and Rescue.

The event, which included class time and a field session at the Keeler Warming Hut south of Troy, was well attended. Search and rescue units from Sanders and Bonners counties attended along with local residents and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks officers.

Living in and alongside a community of individuals who work together to support and encourage safe backcountry travel and responsibility in avalanche country is of benefit to all. Our first mission objective as a caring community is to encourage and educate one another to be safe while enjoying the backcountry beauty we all so appreciate.
