Loggers basketball wins first at Frenchtown

The Libby Loggers boys basketball team picked up its first win of the season Saturday at the Frenchtown Tip-Off.
The Loggers beat Stevensville 33-30, Saturday. East Helena beat the Loggers on Friday, 52-45.
Tyler Andersen led the Loggers with a combined 21 points in two games.
Ryan Beagle scored a total of 16 points for Libby (1-1) while Trevor Collins had a total of 14.
The Loggers will host two games this week with Ronan on Thursday and Polson on Saturday. Thursday's game is at the high school and is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.
