Libby soccer teams sweep East Helena

The Libby boys and girls soccer teams claimed shutouts as they swept East Helena Thursday in season-opening games for both squads at J. Neils Memorial Park.

The Lady Loggers posted a 5-0 win while the Loggers claimed a 7-0 triumph.

Saturday, the boys beat Lockwood, 4-0, while the girls team dropped a 3-0 decision.

Libby will be on the road for the next few weeks. Both teams play at Laurel on Friday and at Billings Central on Saturday.

Libby's next home games are on Saturday, Sept. 17 when they host Polson.
